Hilary Velandia received her Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law with a Certificate in International Trade and Finance. She received a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Spanish and a Minor in Anthropology from the University of Kansas.
While in law school, she was an Articles Editor for the Kansas Law Review. She is fluent in Spanish, has lived in South America and provides pro bono legal services to members of the Hispanic Community in Tulsa
