General Litigation

The Firm's Litigation Department represents both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of matters at the trial and appellate levels in both state and federal courts, as well as administrative proceedings before various agencies. Unlike many firms with a general business litigation practice, the Firm's litigation partners have extensive trial experience before both judges and juries. Much of the litigation handled by the Firm is business-related, consisting primarily of contractual disputes and similar types of cases. Our practice also includes employment litigation defense, personal injury and medical malpractice defense, attorney malpractice defense, construction litigation, antitrust and securities litigation, trademark and other intellectual property actions, and officers' and directors' liability defense. The Firm also defends cases brought against municipalities under 7 U.S.C. § 1926(b).
